The Make It Happen4 BMD Foundation was started by Jeffrey and Sherri Kitzberger,in honor of their daughter, Annalyse, who was only five when diagnosed with two life-threatening bone marrow diseases: Aplastic Anemia and Paroxsymal Nocturnal Hemoglobinaria (PNH). Both diseases are considered "orphan diseases" and receive very little direct funding for research.

Fortunate to have one of the TOP researchers in the world, Dr. Jaroslaw Maciejewski right in their backyard at The Cleveland Clinic, but frustrated by the lack of funding and research available, they launched the inaugural, "JUNGLE JAM" at The House of Blues on October 17th 2008. This amazing event raised almost $70,000 and provided invaluable "seed money" which intiated research to determine if viruses cause certain types of Bone Marrow Disease, Cancers and Blood Disorders.Within the first year, Dr. Maciejewski was awarded an additional $1,900,000 to continue his research from The National Istitute of Health!

The Make It Happen 4 BMD Foundation supports Dr. Maciejewski and his research at The Cleveland Clinic. We are 100% committed to raising funds
and finding a cure for Bone Marrow Disease! All proceeds raised are directed to Dr. Maciejewski and his research team! Please read about his next research project and how you can help "MAKE IT HAPPEN"!

Our goal for the Make It Happen 4 BMD Foundation is to raise funds directed solely towards research for bone marrow disease. Thanks for your support!
